Whether you are aware of it or not you are ENERGY. The only thing that differentiates you from anything thing else is the way in which your energy has come together to create you. Just like the stones, trees or animals there are strengths and weaknesses that you possess. Learning about those strengths or weaknesses is what allows you the ability to balance your life and energy. Most people have problems admitting their weaknesses. If this is this case for you, then how will you ever turn those weaknesses into strengths? How will you truly be able to create balance in yourself without honesty?
Nobody ever said it would be easy, yet it can be a graceful process if you allow for humility to be your guide.
It is not a strength to be "uptight" or "bent out of shape". Yet, how often does this seem to be the case for you? It is not a strength to be emotionally "off kilter". What have you done to balance your emotions? It is not a strength to be able to drink or smoke more than anyone else? What do you have to prove or hide? It is not a strength to allow for someone outside of yourself tell you what is going on inside your body. Don't you want to stand in the authority of knowing what is true for you?
Balance is not a destination, but a constant journey. Life around you does not stop, your ability to move with fluidly is key to sustaining balance. You are not more powerful than the changes you will see in your life, however, you can attempt to stand up to those changes and lose your sense of life. It is the opinion of this blogger that creating a relationship with nature and all she has to offer will be your greatest bridge to peace and happiness. Nature does not have an ego, nor does it ever go away. The natural world is there all the time, open, available, supportive of you finding yourself. I know no one person who can stand against the forces of the natural world and walk away not feeling a sense of peace and purpose and balance. Give it a shot. What have you got lose from spending time with nature? In fact, you might just find something you were looking for. YOURSELF.
Observe Nature and you will learn to observe yourself.
