Flower's are easily noticeable as some of our most powerful manifestations of the natural plant world. They have been given as a symbol of love for centuries. They have embodied healing potential in the forms of oils, essences, teas, and herbal healing for just as long. Yet, with all of the ways flowers can benefit us, how many have ever looked at the power of a flower?
Starting from an energetic level the first ingredient of intent is applied in the mystery of creation. As this intent moves into manifesting, form takes shape as a seed, harboring the potential to grow and express life. This seed is a prayer of creation at one with power within it. A seed requires support to be. So with a little help from the water, earth, fire, and wind, the dream of life becomes overwhelming to the extent that the seed can no longer contain it's desire to grow. It must grow. It must sprout. It must seek to be apart of the world that has supported it's passion to be. As this sprout grows at an astonishing pace, a whole set of challenges arise. Will it be eaten, will it be cut, will it be trampled, will it stand up in it's desire to express itself fully. All of these problems ultimately out of it's control, for it is true that it must surrender to it's placement and all of the supporting factors that are required for it to be. This take's a courage that is immeasurable because it must make the first step in living, it must trust. Trust allows a knowing that it is in the most perfect place, at the perfect time, supported to be a symbol of perfection in relationship with all of creation. After removing the first road block in it's growth of trust, it then must respect the life that was given to it and grow. Never will this flower take for granted all that it has been given to make it this far. Never will this flower live in fear of death. The flower has realized the courage to be. Now that the flower is standing up in itself, it realizes that once again it is time to expand. The flower develops a prayer to give back all that it has been given by utilizing the power of intent and responsibility. It is within this responsibility (responding from the heart) that the flower has made a decision to do what it would love to see all humans do. Bloom! Then, during the waking hours of day as if to meet the fire of the Sun, the flower performs the ultimate act of courage and love. The flower opens up its petals (heart) to all of creation. It expresses its song in the form of an aroma to the world as it's offers it's final prayer to creation. In recognition that it has lived, and survived, and thrived, it gives away its heart to the dream of love as it's final symphony. The flower has done everything it could to live the best life it could, all the while surrendered to the inherent call of creation saying "Do not fear, you are loved and supported, live your expression so that we may all be enriched by your presence." As the flower offers it's final performance, it's final sweet act to the world, it attracts birds, bees, animals, and humans to remember. The power of a flower is the ability to surrender to the power of our hearts and drink in the love of creation. I pray that you never look at a flower the same way again. Remember........Remember..........Remember.......Remember.....
