South Korea has put a temporary ban on seafood from Japan. http://blogs.voanews.com/breaking-news/2012/06/27/south-korea-bans-imports-of-35-japanese-seafood-products/
They want to protect their citizens from consuming radioactive food. However, will the U.S. government do the same here. We know for a fact that our government would rather keep the economy moving along and I highly doubt that we will ever see a ban on any food do to radiation here. Shortly after the Fukushima incident happened, our government more than doubled the amount of radiation that is allowed to be consumed in foods. Considering that the spewing radiation has never been stopped, I can only imagine what the new normal will be.
