I can't say this surprised me to much. What is bothersome to me is that if 75% of doctors refuse chemo, then how come we don't see 75% of cancer patients refusing it as well? How come the doctors push for something that they would not participate in for their own health. This, to me, is very symbolic of the crux of our system. Doctors know better, yet continue to prescribe because they are trapped. A revolution is required to change this system, will Doctors and Nurses finally stand up to Big Pharma, HMO's, Big Insurance and say no more? I certainly hope to see that in my lifetime.
