Alzheimers, Dementia and Stress

There is no denying that stress will create the downfall of the body faster than anything else. Stress creates disease that can cripple every major organ in the body. In fact, a growing epidemic of Alzheimer's and Dementia are now being linked positively to stress. You have probably had direct experience of being too stressed out to think clearly. Imagine years of that type of stress that leads to a "tangling up of the mind". I have taught people that it is my opinion the brain does not create the issues on it's own. From my view, the brain is nothing more than a computing or routing device that will create the way it operates based on the way it is programmed. If we program our life based on health and balance, then we could say we shall see wonderful brain function. If we program our life around stress and emotional trauma the we will most definitely see our brain begin to break down. Although Alzheimer's and Dementia are both serious brain problems, we have the tools within the natural health field to prevent these age related diseases. A promising new form of magnesium called Magnesium L-threonate has shown the ability to reconnect synapses in the brain that you typically see broken down in cases of dementia and Alzheimer's. High quality fish oils, and herbs like ginko and gotu kola have also shown promise to be extremely beneficial to cognitive health as well. Remember that all disease is an expression of the body being hindered or breaking down in some form or fashion. By utilizing what nature provides we all have a fighting chance to prevent age related disease and live healthy, fruitful lives. Here are a couple of articles to stoke your awareness.
